The Sky Flyer Zipline offers an experience of soaring through the air like a world class ski jumper. Zipping parallel to the ski jumps, guests will experience a similar feeling to an Olympian taking flight! On your way down, enjoy the unparalleled views that only the Lake Placid region can afford.
This ride is a thrill for visitors of all ages, assuming you meet our ride requirements (see Before You Arrive tab). Guests experience the ride from a seated position, as they fly approximately 30 miles per hour from the top of our 70-foot tower, down 700 feet to a landing deck at the base of the complex.
Tickets for the Sky Flyer Zipline include the Skyride Experience, our state-of-the-art gondola and elevator to the top of the 120M Ski Jump tower, offering 360-degree views of the high peaks and the surrounding region.

Sky Flyer Zipline operations are subject to weather and line conditions. If the session you booked is canceled due to inclement weather, our staff will make every effort to reschedule your reservation (or provide a refund if we are unable to reschedule).

Sky Flyer Zipline tickets are date-specific with a limited capacity per time slot, so please check our online store in advance of your visit to confirm availability.

Face Covering Requirements
Be sure to visit our Health & Safety Information page via the link below in advance of your visit for face covering requirements.
All Zipline Riders Must Be:
- Wearing closed–toe shoes
- Between 52″ – 80″ (inches) in height
- Between 50-260 lbs in weight
- Wearing a face covering (mask) and/or social distancing
All of these parameters will be checked upon arrival at the venue.
The ride is not recommended for those who have recently had surgery, back issues, those who are pregnant, or who have heart conditions. Riders will be asked these questions prior to riding the Sky Flyer Zipline.
An electronically signed Assumption of Risk form is required prior to your ride. Save time and fill out ahead of time here (note you will be presented the Assumption of Risk prior to checkout if purchasing online).
For Online Reservations
If you have pre-purchased the Sky Flyer Zipline online, please proceed past the ticket booth and down the hill to the parking area upon your arrival to the Olympic Jumping Complex. Head into the Intervales Lodge to check in 15 minutes prior to your reservation time.
In Case of Inclement Weather
Sky Flyer Zipline availability is weather dependent. Even with advanced reservations, please check the Activities & Events calendar to confirm there are no closures due to inclement weather. You may also call the Olympic Jumping Complex at (518) 302-5919 on the day of your visit to confirm that there are no session cancellations in the case that there is inclement weather forecasted.
