Totally 80 Celebration | Lake Placid Olympic Museum

Thursday, Feb. 13 | 6:30 pm – 8:30 pm

Join us at the Lake Placid Olympic Museum to kick off the 40th anniversary of the 1980 Winter Olympics in Lake Placid with a fun throwback night of festivities.

A free, public reception will be held to celebrate our loveable mascott Roni Raccoon’s 40th Birthday and to view our two new exhibits –
“Totally 80 – Exploring the Look of the Games” & “Foretelling the Future – The National Weather Service at the Lake Placid Olympic Winter Games.”

Special themed cocktails will be available at a cash bar and free appetizers will be served. 1980 attire is suggested for this totally tubular event.

This event is free and open to all. The first 80 visitors who attend will receive an original 1980 Winter Olympic Games souvenir event ticket.
