Originally constructed for the 1932 Winter Olympics, and further built upon for the 1980 Winter Olympics, the Lake Placid Olympic Sites have since evolved into 4 distinct locations: Olympic Center, Olympic Jumping Complex, Mt. Van Hoevenberg, and Whiteface Mountain.
Today, we continue to build on the legacy of the Lake Placid area as a destination for people and families from all walks of life. To learn more about the exciting projects we have in store for this year and beyond, visit our Future page.
